Thirty Years on a Hook on San Francisco Bay by Peter Romanowsky chapter six in El Paso

After rolling down from Grand Canyon and across the high desert plains of New Mexico with its brilliant night skys unabsttucted by city lights in the high desert we finally rolled into El Paso Texas past a Tavern seen across the border that a missionary said it was the Tavern in a popular song and finally finding a parking lot near downtown that was sparsely occupied by cars and settled down and eventually went downtown to get badley needed supplies like candles and food and sold my wifes gold wedding ring for scrap gold and got ten or twenty dollars cheated and it was a perfectly good gold nugget style wedding ring and I was so poor at the time we got married that my wife had to pay for the rings and that's another story and I sold my accordiain and tried to se some few pieces of silverware with a pathetic look on the face of the pawnbroker and we were out of gas. So there we sat and slept in the trailer and one night I saw a shadow of a man's head at the foot of my bunk and then I heard a crash and he was breaking the window, at my feet. I jumped up and grabbed a knife and yelled w Jim o are you and what do you wants starling the guy and then in a drunken Spanish accent voice he started calling my name in Spanish saying g Pedro, Pedro and I knew this was the Devil speaking for how did he know my name and he went away and that freaked me more thinking as far away as El Paso the Devil xwas still tormenting me or taunting me, sc o I thought this must be an important mission for the Devil, targeting me again and even here. We were  downtown in the Square of Park on a Sunday I believe and therewas a couple dressed in white gowns preachingthe Godpel and I met an aging missionary and invited him to our trailer and he got on his knees and prayed that he would have a trailer like this. He told us that he was a Missionary somewhere in South or central America when his wife left him and took his two children and moved back to the States and that they were both trained as missionaries together or something and that she worked for the goverment in Washington at one time I  the defense department or something like that and that he has been alone since working as a Missionary across the border in Ciuadad Warez and lived at the local Rescue Mission in El Paso and new a missionary friend of mine in San Jua  Del Rio eight hundred miles south of the border of which mission, we helped start. He took us across th he border to and inexpensive resturant and bought us dinners, really cheap place, with good food and as we got to the border a Mexican with a chain wrapped around his next met and greeted us, because he knew the missionary and he was big and ugly looking and we had no problems and we walked around Juarez and was suprised to find that for instance instead if cash registers they would pile thier money on the countertop show how much they After rolling down from Grand Canyon and across the high desert plains of New Mexico with its brilliant night skys unabsttucted by city lights in the high desert we finally rolled into El Paso Texas past a Tavern seen across the border that a missionary said it was the Tavern called "Rose's Cantina "from  a popular song and finally finding a parking lot near downtown that was sparsely occupied by cars and settled down and eventually went downtown to get badley needed supplies like candles and food and sold my wifes gold wedding ring for scrap gold and got ten or twenty dollars cheated and it was a perfectly good gold nugget style wedding ring and I was so poor at the time we got married that my wife had to pay for the rings and that's another story and I sold my accordiain and tried to se some few pieces of silverware with a pathetic look on the face of the pawnbroker and we were out of gas. I was smoking this time by then again after having and extremely hard time quiting just before the divorce and the cigarettes were dirt cheap, called Pharoes. It was a strange world across the border, newspapers showed blood and graphic violence onthier front pages, Mexican youth would for instance would stand on the sidewalk in front of a ladies laungury store to find mental and or emotional support fro. visions of the opposite sex  and  everyone seemed friendly and no sign of the  horrors that that would come later as the murder capital of the world? Later my missionary friend Robert Brown of Mission Dios Es Amour from San Juan Del Rio met us miraculously was I  town and somehow, we found each other and invited him and his young Mexican wife to our trailer and tried to get a reassuring  hug from her  and she was devastated. by the news of the divorce also, because my wife processed all the non profit donations to the mission, through our Church orginization of which was Vice Presient of called the New Covenannt Evangelistic Association Incorporated and was understandably alarmed, or concerned about future funding, which never changed. They invited me to go back deep i to Mexico with them, but Ieft two boats anchored in California and o e was in Sausalito at anchor andhad a leak in it and the other anchored in Monterey ...to be continued

Thirty Years on a Hook by Peter Romanowsky chapter five leaving Los Vagas

Upon entering Los Vagas and before parked outside of th own in a deserted industrial looking area I met the first person on the road and after talking to him and asking something about gun laws, he said you are scaring me and so onward to the Middle of the strip to prophet Larry Smith's studio apartment where is was in visible shock that his prophecy or warning came through, I showed him my unheated Nomad trailer, and he came in and was chilled and then I and my fist mate spent the night in the parking lot of the Frontier Casino and tried my hand at the slot machines, nothing and not even teaser money came out, like in North Shore Tahoe. So we SF pent a fitful night with alm the other RVs and trailers and in the morning headed to Phoenix Arizona on our way to El Paso and then onwards to Key West  pour ultimate destination. Arriving in Phoenix in was bleakand hot and dusty feeling, saw poor and homeless people looking so ragged, waiting for a bus to take them to a food kichen and I called Pastor Mark Buckleys number who Pastor of Springs of Living Waters Church and his wife said that he wasnt home or out of town, so no friends to be found and we pushed on too the Grand Canyon and burned out our automatic transmission which began slipping as we climbed upwards towards the rim of the canyon and trailer swiming back and forth, trying to get a grip, it was winter like weather on top of the rim and we pulled into a parking lot with a Ranger both there and checked in overnight. I was cold, we had no heat, snow in patches on the ground and I walked over to the rim of the canyon and dangled my feet over it, I was so sad to be in such a beautiful place and no family or children with me and I hung my head and cried in my heart., it was so grand the canyon, beauty and depth just like the newsreels and postcards showed. I saw a large meteor stone as an ornament on the ground, must be worth a fortune but to big for anyone, to carry away. I called my parents about the slipping transmission and my father said take it to a garage and have them tighten the automatic transmission belts inside somewhere and think they are called bands. So it worked and after spending a cold night without heat and just candles we moved on towards El Paso..

Thirty Years on a Hook in San Francisco Bay chapter five arriving in Los Vegas ...Upon arriving in Los Vagas on out way to El Paso and the Key West, we rolled down main street and I found my friend living in a little studio apartment in the heart of town, behind the Casinos and I walked in to tell hi. the news about the divorce and he looked terrible, I tried to keep a cheerful face in spite, of the horror, for he had called me  prior to the divorce crying like a baby, apologizing for anything he had ever said of done to weaken my marriage, of which I never thought he did, being such a close family friend, but God had put it in his heart so.e months earlier that year, to ca me and warn me, something terrible was about tohappen, to my marriage and I didn't see it, I thought everything was fine, living I  the nicest house on the block, three children, two car garage, two story gardens  mini estate with flowers, fruit trees and a perennial stream, running  through the yard and my marriage felt secure and the worst of my troubles and concerns, were over and we had the highest  income in our marriage of sixteen years and what could go wrong ?!   could go wrong...to be continued www.peterromanowsky.blogspot.com

Thirty Years on a Hook by Peter Romanowsky chapter three heading to Los Vegas

Thirty Years on a Hook on San Francisco Bay chapter three fleeing California the th say you can check in a time you want, but you can never leave, leave I must, winter is setting in and alI I could think about was to find some place warm like Key West, to get through the winter and deal with this divorce later, so I set out with my first mate and sailing partner, instead of going to Monterey and Finnish my sailing journey to a Ventura Marina, we headed into the cold dark night East towards Los Vegus , where I had a friend and prophet, Larry Smith, to stop by and say hello, on our way to El Paso and then Key West, for I noticed the name of the judge on the divorce papers was a friend of my inlaws  because my father in law, was a former Supervisor of Marin County named Ernest Niles Kettenhoffen and the women Judge married my sister in law , just recently so I knew they had it in for me, I was concerned that the judge would put me in a mental hospital for ding a fervent of fanatical Christian minister. I remembered how re entry they were still doing shock treatments on the mentallyI'll, with thier concent, oh joy and anyway people are giving mind destroying drugs to ment patients also, chemical labotaonys and such. So I ran I to the night with my car and little Nomad trailer and we  drove a night and stopped in a desolate truck stop in the middle of the cold and dark desert. There we had our lite and pathetic  Thanksgiving Dinner and a the time thinking of my wife and three childre in my inlaws palatial hillside home, with some  seven toilets and warm inside with my other I laws and children and I. all one, with a man homeless man, with a et fragment, lodged I  his head. Thirty Three Years on a Hook on San Francisco Bay by Peter Romanowsky

I think I'll write a book rough draft and right now called Thirty Years on a Hook of San Francisco Bay and start it out waking one November morning thinking all is well with the world and ready for the second leg of my sailing journey downs the Coast in a small and well built wooded boat called Seraph. only two built by hand, before I bought her as a going away gift to my father in Los Angeles County as planning to go back to Israel fr a scpoll, with my wife and three children. Well the morning of my departure on a clear and sunny day, for I had to leave Seraph anchored in Monterey, to go some repairs on the engine, when all of a sudden, there was a young kid at the door with a 711 cop hat handing me a paper saying that I was being sued  then I looked again and it said that I was being sued for divorce and my wife's name was on it, I first I thought it was a joke, who would sue me a poor preacher and never been in trouble with the law since Jesus came into my heart. All of a sudden my whole world fell apart, the paper was a restraining order to leave my home, children and wife and take only personal property and car and trailer that I bought so my wife and I could go and get marriage counseling at Jim Bakkers marriage counseling retreat that my wife encouraged me to buy, she originally said her dad would pay for a trailer, but bei g a man and not wanting to take anything from my I laws, I found a Nomad down the street. Little did I know that I would end up in the trailer, anyway I had 48 hours to leave my wife and life and children behind and it was extended to seventy two hours and around towards that time the police came and asked me if I was going to leave and I said that I would comply and then I turned around standing in front of my gardened estate home and there was a cop hiding behind the bushes in my neighbor's  driveway putting away his gun that he had drawn on me, for the movie Nightmare on Elm Steet with Johnny Depp was playing at the time and I was living on Elm Street and they thought I might have been a Freddy Kruger? So I tearfully got I to my car and little trailer taking only my person belongs, as the order stated and drove off I to the night with my first mate, who was to help me sa from Monterey to Ventura our destination and but before that my wife left me a few hundred dollars I  the house to by a trailer hitch for my car, cold it was in November and after spending aot there I had a few hundred dollars left and we t to see a Christin attorney I new and gave him two hundred dollars, to ca my wife and children, to let the children know that I love them, but my wife's attorney  named Champaign, would not let me talk to them a d it was Thanksgiving  Eve ...Chapter Two too be continued...

Jesus in the Burning Bush

The Angel of the Lord "Jesus" spoke to Moses and said that Gods name was "I Am" ...when Jesus was on trial he was asked if he was the Son of God and he said "I Am",  and in the book of Revelation Jesus also said "I Am the first and the last, the same as the Father...I and the Father are one Jesus spoke in the Gospel of John ...the mystery of Onesness with the Father and Son and the Holy Spirit and all believers are one in the Spirit...remember it wasnt God the Father that appeared to Moses at the burning Bush, but the Angel or agent of the Lord ....
