Chapter Five the New Birth Testimonial by Peter Romanowsky CEO/President of the New Covenant Evangelistic Association Inc.

An unedited work in progress...As aforementioned in the previous chapter four of this testimonial of which I had came to the end of my self righteousness and self-efforts to save myself from this sinful world and original sin, as the Apostle Paul spoke and taught in the New Testament and as I then  pondered, I  how could I become a responsible and decent and productive citizen after turning eighteen, of which was the happiest year of my life, for many reasons other than in the being old enough to buy cigarettes legally and not being drafted by the military to be sent to Vietnam of which teenagers who were not even old enough to buy alcohol and drafted, to be sent there to kill human beings and  feeling for the first time, like an milestone towards being an adult and maturity and above all being born again as a Christian after debating in my heart to which was worse, of my last two addictions of which was worse cigarettes or Marijuana and of which Marijuanna at the time was the last thing that I put on the alter, before being Born again, after my last failure in taking LSD again after vowing to myself to never take anything stronger the Marijuanna and failing miserably and so it came down to the two habits and the Lord let me slid on tobbaco also until months after my New Birth and i prayed to quite and was successful and thats another story,  in itself and the fact that I was cohabiting with my girlfriend, who was afraid of getting married beause (looking back
she might lose her inheritance) for her family was was exremely wealthy and politically powerful and that she was afraid that he " might have a "heart attack" were her exact words, for marrying a poor boy like me and  she said that "love is what was important and that marriage was just a piece of paper" and  I did ask her to marry me of which the Lord saw the intention of my heart and let be slide on the issue for some months, after being Born Again, until after much prayer the Lord gave me a vision of the words "Fornication"  traveled through my mind's eye like a stock market ticker tape in lights and streaming across my mental vision and I knew then that I needed to move into the second bedroom of our home and I asked her that if  ever approached her for sex to say "No" until she was Born Again also with the new birth in Christ and with a lot of mixed feelings and blessings remembering tha year of 1968,  started off chaotic and ended up being glorious and I never wanted to leave it and I met the woman of my dreams and experienced the New Birth and a whole new  family, "The family of God" with brothers and sisters all over the world, of which eventually, I met and fellowshipped and ministered to and with and stayed with my brothers and sisters in Christ on my future, missionary journeys as an International Missonary Evangelist and had proved to myself what the Bible teaches as we being one Great Big Family of God in Christ, wherever I went or traveled and ministered and was blessed by many brothers and sisters and finally going back to the original jist of this chapter in my life and my testimony of salvation and what led me to the New birth for letters from my mother kept coming to me while I was living in a commune in San Anselmo in Marin County California. For my mother who had just been miraculously healed and blessed as as described the privious chapter of this developing blogger and book and here I was,  in beginning of 1968 and struggling to free myself from all temptations and addictions and especially taking anything stronger then  Mexican Brown Marijuana,  of which was much weaker in potency in those days then the cultivated Marijuana buds of today in 2023 and it took two or three  joints to get highfrom depression being pain-free and eventually. After falling back into taken LSD on and off for a week in the commune that I was living in as the Alpha Dog so to speak and  I came to the end of my self righteousness and inability to improve myself mentally, morally and ethnically and then I gave up the last Idol in my life Marijuanna, by putting it on the alter and asking God only for something better in exchange, of which was Marijuana at the time and I began to wander in my mind,  of what is the truth and what is the purpose and the meaning of life and over the next few years after leaving the Catholic Church at the age of thirteen and feeling like I was hiding from God and was always in fear of Him. For it seems that no matter how hard I tried to do right, that I fell back into doing wrong as the Apostle Paul clearly taught about the dilemma in the New Testament, about the difference between the law and grace and  between freedom and bondage and between wanting to do right in my heart and mind and but not having the ability, strength or power to find for example, spiritual wholeness and perfection in this life and the power to overcome all negative thoughts and  temptations and so I begin receiving letters from my mother as aforementioned in prvious chapter again and telling me how she was healed of rheumatoid arthritis and her periodic alcoholism and lost weekends and as before mentioned, my parents also owned at one time the Happy Hour Bar on Ventura Boulevard in the Encino and Tarzana area of  West Valley Los Angeles in the suburbs in the blue suburban skies as not yet as polluted with smog as the rest of Los Angeles was and the happy and sunny place to live in "The Valley" and yet after living in Marin County a couple of years and the  moving back to Los Angeles with my parents and then running away at seventeen and hitchhiking back to  Marin County and eventually joined a commune of four girls the same age, with a best friend and partied day and night and although the end of the summer of love had happened and we were all still partying at the ended and partying eventually got old and boring and it was time to grow up and I thought in my heart and mind that if I just started going to church with my girlfriends starting with my first girlfriend, after arriving back to Marin County, named Sally of Mill Valley and we talked about going to church together but never did and then my second girlfriend Linda and sister of a famous rock star and I talked about going to church and never did and then my third girlfriend Becky and I the same thing and never did go to church and but with the letters coming from my mother about her miraculous healing, of which I first thought she'd lost her mind, for all she talked about was Jesus, Jesus, Jesus and my first impression was my poor mother has finally lost her mind and it had snapped and I was comforted with the thought that at least she went happy and not mad and but the letters kept coming and inviting me to come and see and qitness these Miracle Services, that Katheryn Khulmen had at The Shrine Auditorium in downtown Los Angeles on the third sundays of every month in October and because I had already been healed and delivered from a meth addiction a year are so earlier,,  at a Foursquare Pentecostal Church prayer meeting,  adjacent to the main church sanctuary of the Angelus Temple of which was founded by Ammie Semple McPherson decades ago, along with her godly mother and so I was more inclined to go to this miracle service after realizing that this wasn't a passing fad with my mother and that she really was apparently in her right mind at the time and delivered from alcoholism as,  I was delivered from methamphetamine the year prior, at the prayer gathering that my mother had taking me to in 1967 and so I decided to take up my mother's invitation to go to this so-called miraculous and healing service, that was happening in Los Angeles and Becky and I stuck our thumbs out and hitchhiked together to Los Angeles to my parents house in Tarzana and from there we went to the Shrine Auditorium from which aforementioned in chapter four where the Academy Awards were given at the time also, for prior to this time particular time I had hitchhiked to Los Angeles and for my younger brother Alex who had just robbed a guest of a roommate of mine, that I was living and staying with in San Anselmo and the person that he had robbed was a biker and he  taken a sword and all his drugs and jewelry and whatever he could grab. For he had an Heroin habit at the time and I was still using methamphetamine and after my friend and roommate, was almost bashed to death, so to speak by this biker who pulled off a huge leg from a large wooden dining room table and threatened to beat him violently with it and had him cowering on the floor of the kitchen with his hands only his head and I was so upset, at my brother that I wanted to get vengeance with him, for inviting him into our nnderground style commune behind and under a veterinary Clinic,  next to the Corte Madera Creek, in San Anselmo and a very secluded place to be an even, with a resident upstairs who would bang on the floor too  quiet us partying and lowering the music down and we lived relatively happy and I was grateful to have a place to live, after running away from home with only the clothes on my back and a jacket and no wallet no credit cards and no ID or even driver's license in my possession at the time, if I recall and so I was totally penniless and jobless, for I had just been fired from my gas station attendance job at the old Hamilton Air Force Base, for stealing a quart of oil and pocketing the money and so here I was in a state of mind and of rage, fueled by any drug that we could grind up in a spoon and inject into my veins and we had a clever ways of doing it,  by carrying around permanent Hospital needles with various numbers on them and we sharpen them on fingernail files, for instance and cooked our methamphetamine in spoons and put a ball of cotton in the spoon to strain out the particles, in order to inject the  methamphetamine and any other drug we could grind up and cook in a spoon and we used eye droppers as syringes and when the drug stores realized what we and other low life's  were doing (Meth users were the scum of the earth then and now its gone main stream), then they had the glass eye droppers bent at the tip and they still worked for us as syringes in this relatively small community of methamphetamine users in Marin County and Northern California of which was where people did mostly, what we called uppers in  the drug world such as benzedrine and dexidrine as well as Methamphetamine.
hereas in Southern California,  people were more inclined to use heroin and barbiturates and the tranquilizers, what were called in general Downers and I suppose because of the sweltering heat and the summertime and people just wanted to pass out and relax a d not move around as in Northern California, where it was cooler and crisper like in Marin County, on the north side of the Golden Gate Bridge and people wanted to be outdoors and active and methamphetamine was one way of being alert and active especially if one was homeless or semi homeless and  just to keep going, when one had no place to lay their heads, like  Jesus who implied that he was homeless also and had no place to lay his head and so hitchhiking to Los Angeles to catch up with my brother to get dome of thd loot and in the dead of the night, after going to the local drug store to buy a Dristan nose inhaler and breaking it open and swallowing the cotton inside, with the Coca-Cola. For its methamphetamine effects and to keep me awake and it made your skin stink of the oder that they put in it to discouaring ingestion. I then  hitchhiked Into the night and got a ride that eventually dropped md off and found myself walking along Highway 101somewhere near Soledad California, where there was and still is an Infamous prison of which my younger brother eventually ended up in and called a Gladiator School and as I was walking along in the night, with only a light coat I got a ride to Monterey California and in the night went down to the beach and fell asleep and had a horrible and fitful plus  cold night and hallucinating in my mind of creatures coming out of the ocean and or being  attacked  and dragging me into the sea and a stuck a knife into the sand next to me  and after a cold and fitful night. I woke to an incredibly beautiful sight,  for in the dark I could not see where I had gone to sleep and I woke up on this beautiful white sand beach and in front of me was a chapel and I saw a Catholic priest in a robe walking past the chapel and was obviously checking to see if I was dead or alive on the beach and again, I got up on that clear and sunny blue sky and white sand beach and made my way to Highway 1 again and started hitchhiking south to Los Angeles and I remember for instance,  seeing a long-haired hippie looking type drive by me in his four wheel Jeep wagon and I thought where is the love and or where is the Summer of Love and brotherhood and it was over and  here I was a hichhicking and a  person that looked like aHippie brother, just passes me by, along with the regular traffic and then I got a another short ride and I was dropped off on the remote  coast of Big Sur, in Monterey County in a wilderness area and it was so beautiful and clear and sunny and I was shaking off the morning chill and hunger after I was sleeping on the beach and I was able in this perfect stillness and quietness,  while waiting for another ride South I was able to stop and  marvel at the beauty and the ocean below me, front the cliff side road and looking at the turquoise blue waters and the dramatic mountains and  forest, on the other side of the road and while standing there and and absorbing all that beauty of the moment in time and the peace and waiting in this moment and tranquility and beauty and peace, when all of a sudden a large and luxurious brand new Oldsmobile came down a side road on to Highway and stopped in front of me and the midaged looking gentleman said to me, "how far are you going" and I "said Los Angeles" and he said get in for that's where I'm going also and I got into his luxurious and new car and he was so very kind and friendly and ask nothing of me and began to tell me about his love for Jesus and also  about how his wife who had recently passed away and that he had owned an aluminum Factory and was now retired and sold it and all he could talk about was his love of God and Christ and I have never felt so much love radiating from someone in my life,  and for the first time in my life,  I felt the love of Jesus coming from a human being other than from my saintly mother and but this time it was the strongest that I had ever felt and the love of God and Jesus through this man, began drawing me to the Lord From Love and for the first time, not through the fear of God for fear is the opposite of love and I've been afraid of God all my life and being raised in the Catholic Church fear was a major factor in the religion as I experienced and I remember once a drugged out looking biker type was standing in the back of a Catholic Church service in Reseda California where I also lived with my parents prior and a Catholic priest in the back asked him at first to play at least sit down in a few and I was sitting in a few wearing my Indian Hindu type sandals and out of the corner of my I saw this Catholic pretty straight arm this poor soul who was obviously looking for some type of redemption, to sit down or else for he was just standing in the back of the church wondering and trying to absorb what was happening in this perfectly straight and well-dressed Catholic community and church and I believe it was called Our Lady of Grace on Sherman Way the main cross street in San Fernando Valley and I was so turned off her eyeless in the service that same day seeking and looking for Redemption and I could not find it and so that was the last straw for me going to the Catholic Church to find answers and Redemption from my confused condition in life and as this kind loving and fatherly gentlemen spoke about missing his beloved wife and how gracious and good God was to him and feeling the radiant love coming from him and unconditional love at that for the first person to pick me a picture hiking after I ran away from home and the fall of 1967 from Los Angeles and back to where I used to live briefly and Marin County was a young handsome and well-dressed man and a new car and all he wanted was to have sex with me and of course it wasn't my bag and he wouldn't even give me a dollar after dropping me off after saying no to having sex with him near the intersection of Malibu Canyon and the Ventura freeway and this man now was the opposite and as we drove down the incredibly beautiful and windy Coast on a sunny crisp and clear day we stopped at a restaurant overlooking the ocean, somewhere near the Hearst Castle or just passed it and he took me out for breakfast, overlooking the ocean from inside the glass restaurant and I thought to myself, this is a Heavenly ride and as we journeyed on and he continuously talked about his love for the Lord and was so engrossed and sharing Jesus with me that as we were driving through San Luis Obispo where Highway 1 and Highway 101 merged for a while, a car in front of us put on its brakes and he hit the back of the car and while he was distracted talking to me about the Lord and it was just a fender bender and a few broken lights and things the man never missed a beat and talking about the Lord and it was so friendly talking to the person that he had hit and the police said exchanging IDs and insurance and like nothing happened and looking back I'm sure it was the devil in the car in the front that puts brakes on to distract him from telling me or sharing with me the Lord instead of telling me or talking to me, he was sharing with me and not talking at me to repent or perish or letting any other guilt trip on me other than sharing the love of Jesus and I felt more love coming from him that I could imagine coming from Buddha or Timothy Leary of which was a hero of mine at the time and I had just been further disillusioned by the lonely haired hippie type that just passed me by on the highway and remember thinking again where was the love for the summer of love was over now and the hard drugs had kicked in and spoiled everything and brought in by the Hells Angels who had invaded the Summer of Love and the hippie way of life of flower power in the hate Ashbury district for instance and as we further traveled down Highway 101 he drove me right to my home or my parents home in Tarzana California and I was too embarrassed to have him drop me off in front of my parents home for it was a former chicken Coop or Farm that was converted into a couple of track looking houses on a large lot of land and I asked him to drop me off at the house next door and I said thank you very much and wave to him and went up the next door neighbor's driveway to make it seem as though this is where I really lived a nice house and all and then after walking up the driveway and leaving him I climbed the fence that separated our homes and went to the back home of which a young woman had rented and I knew her before running away for this is the first time I had come back to home after running away in about a year and I smoked pot with her before going next door to my parents house and when I walked into the door there was the gentleman that it picked me up hitchhiking and sitting with my mother with Bibles open if I recall and radiant looks on their faces as they had been talking about the Lord with each other and my mother and I was totally astounded and flabbergasted as to how he knew I really lived and it was a miracle of the Holy ghosts leading as I look back and my mother had been praying for me since I had run away from home to at least come home for a visit and there I was in my mother took me to an Assembly of God pastor in San Fernando Valley and he also talked about the Lord and was well-dressed and fine and perfect looking as people tended to look in the suburbs of Los Angeles and he was telling me how good life was and how he was able to play golf and things and how blessed he was and but this time I felt nothing but hate and jealousy and why can't I be like that successful and well dressed and having a good life and I felt the opposite of the gentleman that had been a hitchhiking for this man was only sharing is good life in Christ with me and that was it and sharing nothing else like taking me to dinner are helping me out financially or anything like that and how I felt was hate rage and jealousy and even though this was a good and godly and decent man I felt that he had nothing to offer me like the man that had picked me a picture I can and drove me all the way home and after taking me out to a beautiful restaurant for breakfast on our way down to Coast and I left in a rage and still looking for my younger brother who that caused all the trouble in our little underground looking hideout on the creek in send Anselmo California and I finally tracked my brother down to the Avalon Hotel and he was not there so I climbed in through a back window into his room and all I could find was a solid gold looking watch that he apparently had stolen from my biker friend and acquaintance and that's about all and there was no cash or drugs and so I eventually got drunk and even crashed through a horse corral near my parents home and the last thing I remember where horses running down the street in the night I like a bizarre nightmare or dream my life had become and Meanwhile my mother had taken me to this prayer meeting at the Angeles Temple after first taking me to a dry church service of some nondescript Protestant assembly and it was very dry and boring and the second meeting my mother took me to was at the Angeles Temple meeting where I was prayed over and delivered from methamphetamine to this day save for once ingesting crystal meth after being prayed for and over in the speaking in tongues and laying on of the hands of which I had never heard of before and being raised to Catholic and all and after taking the meth for one last time I felt so sick and paranoid that I thought I might die from an overdose or being poisoned and curled up around a telephone in my apartment that I was sharing with another sometime later during a second hitchhiking visit to my parents house and all of this was kind of a psychedelic and a hallucinogenic blur in time and space and memory and synchronicity of events now that I am reaching the age of 74 here in the year 2023 and relating back to the best of my memory and with the aid of the Holy Ghost who is promised to bring back our memories to us as taught by the Apostle Paul in the New Testament and so as sketchy is my memory is at times for the Holy Ghost is filling in the gaps and helping to make sense of it all in my history and narrations and so returning back to Marin County after my second visit to my parents home after the first visit since I ran away with the help of returning by this Holy Ghost filled Christian businessman I got a job as a dishwasher at the elderly Danish retirement home in San Rafael and shared an apartment with a school made acquaintance with mine from Redwood High School in Corte Madera Marin County California and after an episode of Breaking dishes at my job I was terminated and about this time this friend of mine showed up and said that his girlfriend was living in a commune with three other girls and what I like to come with him and visit the girls and of course we both moved in and I had my girlfriend Linda Haggerty and he had his girlfriend Lorraine lazzarini and we partied day and night and we stopped going to sleep and again you can't party on forever and something has to give and like I have said before it was the end of the summer of love and the following year was a time of eventually winding down and seeking to grow up and to be a normal and functioning and contributing human being and so hitchhiking back to Los Angeles for the third time and this time with my future wife and girlfriend Becky kittenholson the youngest daughter of a Marion County Supervisor, we quickly got a couple of rides as we hitchhike together as a couple and it was easier to pick up a couple than a long stranger On the Road and we arrived at my parents house and my wife wasn't ashamed of my parents new home of which they had just bought and was kind of run down and but on a big lot and next to Baptist Church and across the street from a public school in Tarzana California and my parents had gotten a good deal on the property and eventually sold it and bought 80 Acres along the soul that River in the northernmost part of the county of Los Angeles and that's another story which I will go into in later chapters and as and when my parents took us to the Shrine Auditorium to the miracle service, there were so many thousands of people and so many people couldn't get in for the fire marshal had closed the doors because it would have exceeded the capacity of the 7 000 seat of the Auditorium and so we were locked out and could only hear what was going on inside through the loudspeakers outside for those who couldn't make it in the front of the auditorium and parking lot so to speak and I heard Katheryn Khulmem singing he touched me if I recall which was her favorite theme song and we could hear what was going on and as I was pondering our Fate and hitchhiking all the way down here to go into the service and while I was looking up at the Blue Sky on a clear and sunny day in Los Angeles and then all of a sudden I felt the Holy Ghost come into my heart and into my mind and at first I was shocked and afraid for I had never experienced anything Supernatural like this in my life and I thought I was losing my mind for a moment and for a second time and I imagined myself being taken away in an ambulance and thinking that I am having a massive flashback from all the drugs I had taken as a youth and then I realized after the initial shock I felt peace in my mind and joy in my heart and a clear channel to God and with no sense of sin or guilt or fear whatever and I Heard a voice coming from inside of me and a very clear and distinct spiritual voice saying in a beautiful and feminine tone that you are forgiven and set again you are forgiven and for the first time in my life I felt oneness or one with God and I turn to my girlfriend Becky and I told her that this is real that it's all real about Jesus and miracles and I felt it and I feel it that something has happened to me and that Jesus is coming to my heart and looking back theologically speaking by the Holy Ghost the act of agent of God in this world promoting Jesus Christ as the Lord and savior and the substitute death for our sins if we would just let go and let God do the saving like a drowning person being rescued by The Lifeguard and has to stop struggling and allow themselves to be rescued at least one takes the lifesaver with them by cleaning on to them in a panic of which happened to a couple I know years later on the Anchorage and Waterfront of Sausalito where I eventually lived on a boat on San Francisco Bay of witches another story further on in this book and testimonial and my poor dear girlfriend was looking in shock and consternation of this suddenness and transformation of me instantly by being miraculously saved and forgiven and turned into another creature and a man that my wife later said that I had turned into a another person that she never knew before by the power and transformation of the Holy Ghost, and the name of Jesus and I thought all I would have to do is tell people what happened to me and that it was real and everyone would believe me and I was shocked to find that people were not all believing me and my experience and that was my first experience sharing the gospel and it was with my girlfriend and common law wife (so to speak ) and I begin speaking to others and telling all my friends and everybody that I met and would listen about my Holy Ghost transformation in the name of Jesus and my Oneness with the father and my feeling of total forgiveness for all my sins of the past and I thought this joy in the Holy Ghost would last forever and that now I was a perfect and transformed human being and as we were driving home from the Shrine Auditorium I got in a fuss with my father of which is very easy to do for my father was a hard drinking and a hard-working former Red Army officer who had defected to the West through Finland where he met my mother and I was conceived and we all escaped in a 30-foot Lifeboat with 30 refugees and a storm with 30 foot waves and Landing on the shores of Sweden and that's another story again of which I will elaborate more on and in the meanwhile back to the ride to my parents home and getting in a fuss with my father about some little something for he could be very grumpy, when not drinking and even more grumpy when he did for he was not a happy drunk except when he was around his friends after work in a bar and for the first time since my new birth in Christ I also felt the imperfection of My Flesh and that I was perfect in my spirit and but my flesh still had to drag along from behind like a dead body following a now holy spirit and as we further drove along I started having doubts in my mind again as to whether this could have happened through Buddha or some other way and as we drove through Hollywood there was a huge white cross along the side of the road either as a religious Monument or on a church for I can't remember the details and this huge white cross that I was looking at just burned into my heart and mind and it was the Holy Ghost saying that there was no other way that Jesus was the way to have this new birth experience and it was settled in my mind from that time forward to this day that there was no other way to God except through His Son and by his Holy Spirit and I have never doubted it since and that was over some 50 years ago from1968 in October to 2023 as I write and dictate this book and testimonial and when Becky and I return home to our communion and send Anselmo in Marin County I begin sharing with the others of my new birth experience and it all fell on deaf years initially and I remember one of my friends Jeff Diaz coming to the commune to visit with a friend and saying let's go for a ride Peter for he had heard that I had become a Christian and was laughing and mocking and joking about my experience and thinking that it was some temporary thing like a jailhouse conversion and that I would get over it and as we were driving around he and his friend mockingly or smoking marijuana and offered me some and teasing me and tempting me in testing me and trying me in every little nook and cranny so to speak and I took his bag of marijuana and put a couple of papers together and roll the biggest fattest joint that I could possibly roll and I said okay you Jokers if you like this stuff so much go ahead and smoke this and they did out of Shame for mocking me and and pride after what they had just put me through on this drive and yet still my friends and mocking me in a none visceral way I only tested for if I had a real spiritual experience and conversion and I gave them the great big fat and real joint and I basically told them to smoke this you Jokers and laughed and they got so stoned and weary and tired by the time they dropped me off back at the commune and said goodbye to one another in still and a footnote to this chapter and a footnote to this chapter last I heard Sally and Rosie became biker girls and my close friends Robert and Lorraine I haven't heard from or seen since and hope they're doing well and Linda went on singing and performing in a choir at the Sleeping Lady Cafe in Fairfax and helped establish Chapter Six The Calling into the ministry Testimoniel Peter Romanowsky CEO/President of the the New Covenant Evangelistic Association Inc.

After returning to the commune in San Anselmo the party was over for me for partying every evening virtually and Roseanne had moved on and so had Linda and it was just Becky and my best friend Robert and his girlfriend Lorraine and no certain terms I told Robert and Lorraine that the partying was over for me but my friend wanted to keep partying and keep drinking wine and smoking pot and not helping to pay the rent for I Becky and I were the only rent payers and having a part-time jobs and things came to a head one morning when I told them that they were going to have to leave for the party was over and I'm moving on to serve the Lord and Becky still couldn't understand what happened to me first she told me later I had completely changed nothing like she didn't even know me anymore the way I used to think and be and when I told my friend Bob that he had to leave he said to finally know and I flipped out and kicked over the proverbial coffee pot in the living room and I threw my breakfast plate at you and it missed him and thankfully it didn't break the floor to ceiling photos of the living room facing the Redwood Grove the house wrapped around in an owl shade and the kitchen was windowed and the bedrooms had picture windows in them and I lunch at him to physically throw him out of the house if I had to but I was desperate not to go back to my old way of life and I felt like I was fighting for my life against a way of life that I didn't want to live anymore and I needed a break to be healed and to be made home and to eat healthy and the quit partying and the quit drinking and the quit smoking pot and everything else that was going with my past hippie lifestyle. We fought and swung at each other and neither of us was able to hit each other or connect and Lorraine was standing by with a hammer ready to clobber me if I started hurting her boyfriend and they got the message that it's time for them to to leave for not paying rent and wanting to continue to live like partying hippies. Then Bob and Lorraine went into their bedroom and started packing and wrote on the wall that we hate you Peter and as they were leaving my old girlfriend Sally showed up at the same time and as they were all going out the door Sally who had broken my heart a year earlier and my first love and the first one to ever do it said to me with her beautiful face that I still remembered and said to me Peter you haven't got a friend left in the world and I looked at her and I said Sally you are as beautiful as a rose torns and all and as they all filed out the door and as I closed the front door and locked, it for the first time since I joined the commune I took a breath and with Becky standing by my side still, I realized that we had this beautiful and brand new luxurious Hillside home, for ourselves and even though it was poorly furnished, it was home and we were alone and I said to myself that I have brothers and sisters, all over the World, in Jesus Christ and that was the first great gift I recieved, since being born again and I settle in to a regiment of Bible study and prayer and going to meetings and jumping up and down on the couch, metaphorically speaking trying to get Becky to understand what happened to me and the new birth is real and Jesus is real and God is real and of course the Holy Spirit doesn't come into my heart in Jesus name and sent by the father and she patiently accepted me the new way I was. I went to a local barber shop to get a haircut and the barber gave me a Hitler style haircut with long on top and kind of shaved looking on the side like my dad used to wear his hair and this guy knew nothing about hair styling and after looking in a mirror, at home I took a razor and cut off all my hair and started wearing a knit cap and I look like I had just joined the Hare Krishna cult. One day in the First Baptist church in Sausalito there was a guest speaker from the Marine City Church of God named Pastor Fred small and he was talking about getting the churches together and having an interracial tent meeting in the parking lot of our nearest shopping Center in Corte Madera of which was close by and I was so impressed by this amazing man and preacher that after the Baptist service which would last like 90 minutes and start at 11:00 I would go over to the Marine City Church of God next door in the predominantly black community, for their services lasted longer and I was able to catch the half end of their services and I was so blessed and delighted to hear the music and the clapping and the drums and the piano and the organ and the choir and whoever else was playing any instrument there and dancing and jumping up and down and leaving and praising the Lord and especially on mid-week services on Wednesday of which all of the Bible churches had in those days and healings and miracles and prayers and speaking and praying in tongues and this was not even a Pentecostal Church and it was charismatic and I remember somebody being delivered from a demon of adultery after laying on the ground and rising in agony and wrestling without adulterous devil and when it came out he was delivered he was calm and people would fall over when prayed for and it was just a beautiful whole healthy and a healing experience both physically mentally and spiritually speaking. Then I heard of another church and Assembly of God Church in San Rafael of which was Pentecostal and there was this delightful middle-aged pastor and he gave his testimony that he couldn't read or write when he was called into the ministry working in a field down south and that part of America, the Bible Belt for instance. This man had no formal education to the best of my knowledge in theology and had learned to read and write after being called of God to be a preacher and he may have gone to some Bible School and Seminary I doubt it and even going to a Bible School I doubt it for I had the impression that after he is calling he just began preaching the Bible from memory and from hearsay and eventually learn to read it for himself like I did for I was a very poor reader and a very poor student in school for my mind was always wandering and daydreaming and wishing I was not in class and after my new birth, I could pick up the Bible and read it and understand it and devoured it, like the first book that I have ever read for I could count the books I've ever read up to that point on both my hands if I recall for I was raised on television and who had time or needed to read when you had television and that's the way it was. I begin going to the Baptist Church midweek meetings also and the Church of God midweek meetings and the Assembly of God midweek meetings and any other Bible study or prayer meeting that I could find, also somewhere along the line I met a man named Richard Bohr for he had come up from Los Angeles with his new wife and started a coffee house and the fellowship hall of the Assembly of God Church in Mill Valley and called it the Crown of Life Coffee House and Becky and I would go there every Friday and fellowship and witness to the youth that would play or gather in front of the coffee house. One evening Richard's wife was singing he's real he's real I know he's real and while she was singing that classic gospel hymn and I was praying in the side room with someone, all of a sudden I heard Becky cry out he's real or it's real and I was shocked and surprised for Becky is a very undemonstrable person and for her to cry out loud and having a supernatural experience and the new birth, was an answer to my prayer for I told her that I could not marry her unless she was born again and we had moved to separate bedrooms in the house and now I knew I was living with a fellow born again Christian. Meanwhile I was picking up all the hitchhikers that I could and share Jesus with them and one day I picked up a hitchhiker named Bob and he had just recently been born again and lo and behold he became my first Christian friend other than Becky for the Baptist Church that I went to didn't have any youth to speak of and only a couple of young men that were Sons of a man named Lars, who was an elder in the church and a very happy and friendly and gentleman and wise looking with his beard and I had nobody from my background that I could relate to until I met Bob. Together we would Minister and fellowship at the Crown of Life Coffee House and sky was the limit and we felt there was nothing we couldn't do in the name of the Lord and we were young and full of energy and Bob eventually went on to be the head of a Christian house in Novato of which developed into a church called Church the open door and then became pastor of another church of the Open Door in San Francisco and then started a church in Phoenix Arizona called the streams of Living Water Church and I settled into a routine of reading the Bible and studying and praying something like 4 to 6 hours a day to prepare myself for the ministry for our Hillside home had become a monastery to me and I would go to Bible studies and prayer meetings and what we called witnessing nights where we would go out in the streets and Witness to people and pass out tracks and flyers and virtually every day or every night was busy going from one Bible study and prayer meeting and midweek service to another and I was saturating myself with the things of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit and the Saints. Then I remember going to my brother's apartment in San Rafael to share with him my new birth experience and we argued and we fussed and we fought and my brother braunik or Nick as later he was called would say something like that God was a Great Dictator in the sky for he was a student at Berkeley and he loved to drink also of which I avoided in my early teens because of my father's alcoholism and stuck mainly to whatever drugs I can get my hands on to and marijuana and of course drink also but it was never really my main cup of tea for I did not want to end up being like my father, hard-working as he was but drinking all the time after work and he was a mean drunk and not a happy drunk and would be belittling and that's another story and so my brother had always fancy bottles of booze in the kitchen and I challenged him to make a decision right then and there, do you want to accept the Lord Jesus Christ as your savior and he stopped his belligerent and arguing when I put them on the spot and he prayed to accept the Lord Jesus Christ and was born again and saved and sue his wife prayed with him. Meanwhile I met a man name Larry Smith at the Assembly of God church in San Rafael and I believe I gave my testimony as I always like to say something during a church service and most anybody can have something to share during a Baptist or Pentecostal service and Larry was impressed and we immediately bonded and when I went to my apartment I brought Larry with me and he looked like a stone biker and used to have a motorcycle club in Phoenix called the Bulldogs and he looked like a bulldog and he looked like Steve Reeves also and for he used to work out with him and even played in a child's program in Phoenix called Low dad's monster and was dismissed after children started emulating him pulling phones out of walls and things and he had a good friend who was Hank Williams cousin called Jerry Williams, who gave me my first electric guitar a fender music master. My brother was so impressed by Larry that they became the best of friends in life and Larry really liked my older brother and they were hard-headed and strong-minded together and my brother was radicalized in Berkeley from where he graduated and now that he has become a born again Christian he was 100% for the Lord and we all joined a general Baptist congregation in San Rafael which met in in the Carpenters Hall and we used to pray and what we called the upper room upstairs is it the auditorium would be filled with people and it never was while we had our services there and but I told a leader of the Jesus movement named Kent about the place and when the pastor named Jack Khulmen, who went on back to his original home Church in a town named Ceres, close to Modesto California and Kent rented the auditorium and the place was filled and just like we prayed and but not exactly if you know what I mean for our ways are not God's ways and he had a bigger plan and it wasn't for us to fill the auditorium but for Kent to do it and yet still an answer to prayer and so my brother are wives and Larry Smith and another started having church services in our house in San Anselmo and then we eventually rented the wood acre Improvement Club in the town of woodacre California Marin County and there we begin having formal church and worship services for we had no place to Fellowship that we could relate to for we were all newly saved and most churches were still conservatively structured and had no place to send people that the street people that we would go out and witness and minister to and who would accept the Lord and what better place to send these brand new believers, then to a brand new Jesus movement Church. One morning I woke up on a Sunday and I felt it the meeting Hall that we rented wasn't worth the money we were spending for the amount of people that were coming for it started off with a bang of about 16 to 18 people and then dwindled down to just a handful of us after the initial excitement and Novelty of it all and we went on for a period with very low and sparse attendance and I called my brother that morning and said let's cancel the service for it was only down to my brother and I are wives and Larry Smith and one other regular and I told my brother that let's quit running the recreation center and find some other place to meet for it just was not working out for us and after I drop the phone. The Lord got a hold of my heart and said call your brother back and tell him that we are not canceling our Sunday service is there and for I felt the Lord strongly putting it on my heart to go out there and have the service and when we got there there were all these children playing in a front of the auditorium and I said to myself wow, I asked them all to come in to the church service and the number of them did and from that Sunday on the church began to grow and it took about a year and the church attendance grew up to 30 to 40 people coming and going on Sundays and that's when I learned that it takes a solid year for a congregation to develop and I remember in the scriptures that when Jesus fed the multitudes he had them sit in groups of 40 to be fed and 40 is about the maximum One Pastor can minister to and I believe this is the example that Jesus was setting that the perfect congregation is around 30 to 40 people for one pastor and when a church grows to 80 people then a second full-time pastor should be hired or volunteer and it was no Cakewalk to found a congregation and it took much prayer and determination and after the initial year it seemed, then the congregation began to grow and riches maximum attendance. If this was Los Angeles with millions of people that church would have kept doubling and tripling and so far and but Marin County has only around 250,000 people and a Congregation of 30 and 40 is about good and average and when I was in Jerusalem I noticed the same thing that good size congregation was around 30 or 40 people for instance or for example and the feeling of Jerusalem was very much like the feeling of for instance Sausalito, a Crossroads of the world and tourist and Pilgrim destination. The General Baptist Church called Harmony Baptist that we finally settled into with Pastor Jack Khulmen, before he moved on back to the church that he was born again in and became Pastor there in Ceres California of witches pastor's dream and before that he recommended me to become a licensed preacher in the General Baptist denomination of America of which is also referred to as the northern Baptist Church juxtaposed to the Southern Baptist Church and the General Baptist Church were known as followers of the teachings of James Arminus and the Southern Baptist Church followed the teachings of John Calvin or were Calvinistic and Calvinism is taught that once someone is born again that  they cannot lose their salvation, of which is a given for no one can "lose their salvation" and one  can only walk away from it for I Believe In My Heart that God never takes away one's freedom of choice to follow him even after they are born again, otherwise we would be reduced again to robots and automatons and the extreme opposite end of this theology is when people backslide that they have to get saved again and that's another theological and hair splitting piece of metaphoric theology and the other extreme version of Calvinism is is that one cannot lose their salvation and it is generally accepted among Bible theologians, is that the only way one can quote lose their salvation, is through apostasy and apostasy is losing one's love for God and one must be careful to always cherish and be grateful for what God has done by the ministry and unction of the Holy through Jesus Christs substitutionary death for our sins and so back to my calling into the formal Ministry of Jesus Christ, my pastor recommended that I be licensed for a year. And after a year ordained and he took me to the central district meeting in California of the General Baptist Church, where the pastors all meet and spend the whole day preaching to each other every quarter and so that they might be fed and then take the preaching and teachings that they have learned back to their congregations if anybody wonders how do ministers get ministered to and I went before the elders of which all met in a church building and they asked me one question for my pastor had already informed them of my qualifications and testimony and the one question that they asked me was how do I know that I had a calling of God on me for the other pastors for instance would tell of Glory stories of how they were called of God into the ministry and all I told them was that when Jesus came into my heart that I had a burning and unquenchable desire to share Jesus Christ with others and they asked me no other question in my interview and they all lined up in a row and one by one gave me the right hand to Fellowship and every one of them told me and said only one thing, preach the word and finally the last pastor who shook my hand said that if he caught me speaking or talking or teaching in tongues that he would have my collar and then they let me preach and but most of the preachers and pastors had already left and there were a few to hear am I christening sermon and all the well for these were seasoned Brothers and the Lord and had heard enough about me through my pastor and my testimony of my burning and hearts desire to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world. Eventually my pastor moved on and I never completed the year internship, for the local congregation had folded and the remaining members to rigid and are too flexible to change to this new phenomena called the Jesus movement and pastor Kent Philpott, the most visible leader of the Jesus Novement at the time went to rent the Carpenters Hall Auditorium on Sundays and it was filled with Jesus people, while our little band rented the woodacre Improvement Club for services and the rest is history...to be continued the next chapter " Full Speed Ahead in the Gospel Ministry"and a work in progress and if you ha e been touched by the Holy Ghost and blessed by this testimony and please feel free to make a contribution for our hot mean and food distribution program in Dunphy Park, every Sunday starting at noon and all day long ministering and being a listening ear and sharing gospel and inspirational music and a place for all day fellowship and peace and spreading of the Word by writing to the New Covenant Evangelistic Association Inc. Testamoniel/Chapter four/Returning to Marin County 1967/Peter Romanowsky CEO/President of the New Covenant Evangelistic Association Inc.

Upon arriving back in Marin County, where I attended Redwood High School and lived in Larkspur for a couple of years before moving with my parents as a teenager back to Los Angeles and then hitchhiking back to Marin County after another couple of years, I arrived back home to Marin County. Penniless and with only the clothes on my back and not even a day pack and I found a dollar bill on the  freeway on ramp, on the Ventura Freeway and that was my ticket home,  hitchhiking back Marin County, where I still had friends and a brother living also there and yet I was also homeless and a runaway at seventeen and had to start from scratch and I went down to the old Charles Van Damme ferry boat bar and dance floor in Sausalito of which was the hottest spot in Marin County at one time for gigs and bands and was the Fillmore Auditorium of Marin County and I was there in the evening until the night and there was hardly anybody there and nobody was dancing on the dance floor and the thrill was  gone and this was the end of 1967 and the Summer of Love and I saw a man with long dark hair, thin and reasonably well-dressed a just holding onto a post and shaking his long black hair and  head back and forth and was definitely tripping and grooving on the music but that was about the only thing I remember, other than the memories of it being a two story dance hall and bar back in the mid-60s and so sitting there alone and of course broke and had just run away from home after the Summer of Love and from West Valley Los Angeles and a beautiful blonde waitress ask me if I had a place to spend the night and I told her no told her no and she said that I could come and stay on her houseboat for the night! So after work she took me behind the Charles Van Damme, to wooden dock and planks and we went to her beautiful little houseboat and she took off all her clothes and got in the bed without saying a word and my word, for I didn't know what to do or how to react and so I just took off all my clothes and got in bed with her and lay next to her she had her back to me and I put my hand on her hip and that's the last thing I remember. I fell asleep and I woke up and she was gone and I was there alone and her beautiful little and comfortable houseboat and being young and dumb and polite and being raised religious by my mother. I didn't want to hang out and take advantage of her hospitality and so I got dressed and left with a beautiful memory of a beautiful woman that took me in and was not afraid of me and not ashamed to be a human being and from there I eventully connected with a female friend of mine Sally from Mill Valley and ended up sleeping in her dad's sports car parked down the street, of which was really cramped and  in the winding Hills of the woods of Mill Valley and when her parents went to sleep, she would have me come in downstairs to her bedroom and let me sleep in bed with her and when her mother came down to check on her she would hide me in the closet and in the closet and I noticed there the names of the others that she had hidden there before me and I thought "Oh Sally" and what a go getter and rescuer and what a hot looking chick she was and smart as a whip and she eventually had me shoplifting for her and kind of took care of me and but I had developed a craving for methamphetamine and that was off the chart for her and I tried to hide the fact but one day  while sitting in a chair inher bedroom, she basically asked me, if I was on it and I said "yes" that I was and she hit the proverbial ceiling and our relationship was over and what really hurt was that she replaced me with some dorky looking guy, to take my place "ouch" and it was the first time in my life that my heart was broken and I know some of you know the feeling for she was really good looking and short and stocky and hot with her bleached blonde hair and handsome looks and so I moved on from pillar to post and my brother couldn't help me because he was staying with an alcoholic friend that my parents left him with after moving back to Los Angeles and while he was studying in Berkeley Universary and supporting himself, delivering newspapers from his vehicle and my old and best friend Jeff Diaz was the only close friend that I had left in Marin County and he couldn't take me in for he still lived with his parents and eventually I got a dishwashing job at the Danish retirement home in San Rafael called the Aldersly Danish Retirement home and I washed and I ate well and shared an apartment with someone that went to the same school as me called Redwood High, in Corte Madera in Marin County (same school as Robin Williams and Governor Galvin  Neusome) and he worked at a gas station and wore a uniform and one day a friend of mine showed up and said that he found an old girlfriend and she's living with three other girls in a hillside and secluded wooded Redwood Commune and asked me to come along with him to the house  and I  immediately I fell in love with the place and it was a brand new house nestled in a Redwood canyon with Ferns, flowers and deer with  sash and glass walls and picture windows and I was in heaven on earth and I hooked up with one of the girls, who was the sister of Terry Hagerty the lead guitar player for the Sons of Chaplin named  Linda and we were together for a while and we're not really compatible because both of us had very short fuses and  fiery tempers and my future wife used to listen to us argue in the bedroom next to us and wondering why we were even together and what was the purpose and so eventually, my future wife and I became girlfriend and boyfriend and I became the Alpha Dog male of the commune and because she. Becky was the only one that had a part-time job and was paying the rent as a dishwater, for rent was so cheap back then that one could rent a luxury and hillside home as a part time dishwasher in the Hippie and and artist coffee shope where the Bohiemiens gathered called the "Kettle" in Sausalito and my friend Linda and my best bud and his  girlfriend kept partying, as we did every night with a house full of  500 record albums and a hugh stereo system, that someone had just bought who was on his way to Vietnam because when you sign up they give you a bonus and a lot of people bought things like a car or a stereo system and such as an incentive to getting drafted and a lesser place in the military and he left in our care and  we partied every night and drink wine and smoked pot and shoplifted for food
and basically life was one big party and my future wife kept to herself in her bedroom and eventually and was not involed with our constant partying and such and eventualy I got a part time job together with Becky to help pay the rent for I was fired from Aldersly retirement home, after breaking some dishes in protest or or anger or spite or mischief and or all of the above (for I was not yet a Born Again Christian) as another employee was doing and I was emulating him when he got frustrated and nothing happened to him, so I  got fired for he was breaking dishes periodically by throwing them on the floor and he was a favorite of the owners of the retirement home for some reason and so just in time my friend, showed up to tell me about this commune and we basically just moved in with the girls and camped out in the living room and it was all wonderful and beautiful and fun and one of the girls was a close relative of President Nixon and gets invited to his Birthday partys and my girlfriend Becky was the youngest daughter of a Marin County Supervisor name (the late) Ernest Nile Kettenhofen and she didn't join us in the partying and reveling and playing strip poker and such for she was much more shy and moderate and would get drunk or tipsy once a week on Wednesdays and wuld come home and open the door and would kiss me while and run off to her bedroom and I thought that was sweet beautiful and "I think she likes me"  I said you myself, I believe she likes me and for my relationship with Linda it was going on the rocks and the close relative of Richard Nixon, eventually moved on and it was just basically my best friend his girlfriend and Becky in the house living in the Commue. For Linda had moved on also and I remember one day my friend and his girlfriend and I had taken some LSD and she was having a bad trip and a Baptist Christian who had picked hichinking sometime before, showed up with coffee and donuts to take me to church because  before I gave him permission to come and take me to Church on Sundays and I didn't think he'd show up and when he showed up this peace from the Lord, came into the house and my friends girlfriend, all of a sudden became calm and peaceful and the torment look on her face left and I went to church with him. The First Baptist Church of Sausalito and he would come every week and take me there with his coffee and donuts and  mean while, I was getting letters from my mother in Southern California about her being miraculously healed and delivered at a Katheryn Kuhlmen Miracle Service, at The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, where the Academy Awards were given at the time and  she was delivered from her periodic alcoholism and rheumatoid arthritis of which she suffered from for she would have lost weekends. For my parents had owned a bar called the Happy Hour, on a Ventura Boulevard in the Encino California and the reason that my mother was suffering from severe and black depression was after having many children and a couple of spinals that doctors gave her when child birthing and eventually she had massive migraines and depression to deaden the pain of childbirth at the time they petal a footlong needle up your spine and basically temorarily paralyzed and she said that is what caused her depression and emotional pain and she even tried it take a handful of pills, to take her life and she miraculously coughed them back out. After I was arrested and found naked and drunk I  somebodys car and put into a straight jacket and tied to a pole in the local West Valley Police Station and drunk out of my mind cursing and swearing at the cops and trying to get them to flip out and shoot me at the time and feeling suicidal (suicide by cops) and while my mother was suffering and raising her many children, my dad was a hard-working and hard drinking White Russian immigrant, who loved to drink also and raising eventually ten living children and so and I was the second oldest and it was time for me to move on and make room and that's one reason I hitchhiked out of Tarzana California, when I was seventeen  and came back up to what is called colloquially,  Marvelous Marin County and reconnected and well anyways, here I was in this commune and living it up and it got down to just Becky and my best friend and his girlfriend, for the other two girls had moved on like I fefore mentioned and I loved Linda my first lady friend in the commune and she will always be in my heart and memory and we were just too alpha dog human beings, that clashed mentally and emotionally and verbally and never physicallyand I saw her many years later in front of a supermarket in San Rafael California and it was nice to see her again and looking good and making  contact with her again and she also was the co-founder of the Sleeping Lady Cafe in Fairfax and used to perform there in a singing choir that regularly preformed there from what I understand and going back to say that her brother was the lead guitar player for Sons of Chaplain and so music was in her family and in her bones and genes and she, no doubt still is still  happy somewhere and looking forward to seeing her again someday  and Roseanne,  the one that was a close cousin to Richard Nixon moved on eventually and there we were just three of us left in the house and when this member of the First Baptist Church of Sausalito a Southern Baptist Church who had come back to pick me up for church had arrived and while my friend's girlfriend Lorraine, was having a bad trip on acid had completely calm down, when he entered the room, as "I mentioned before" for the Bible says,  when you come into a house bless this place and your peace of God, will fill the house, if one receives the messenger and if one
don't receive o e for instance, then may the peace of God be taken with you and the peace of God fell on us and that was an early experience of a miracle for me and got me even more interested in going to church, with him Sundays and I hadn't yet become a Born Again Christian as before mentioned and by accepting the Lord Jesus as my personal Lord and Savior and willing to let go of any last besetting sin a Marijuanna habit that I have been clinging to and turned it over to the Lord. In my heart and mind and askiing only for something better in its place, (for it had become my idol/god and forbidden fruit and  I Was Born Again by the Holy Ghost in Jesus Holy Name for it was the only thing that made me happy, it was my only antidepressant in life for I had failed to keep hard drugs out of our commune when  eventually, when these young handsome and wel dressed men who had  came from New York City and said they had something called religious acid and I took some and yes it made me feel calm and non hallucinogenic and I don't know what it was cut with or how it was made but looking back it made me feel like a Born Again Christian, but of course the effects wore off and the downside or withdrawal set in and it was an up and down experience that didn't last and  so I took this LSD on and off for about a week or so and one day I met a young man who had a cheap looking Japanese electric guitar with broken strings (back then growing up we l laughed at anything made in Japan and we laugh no more) and he said he had just stolen it from a friend and offered it to me for sale and I thought he was kidding and playing around and I gave him a capsule of LSD for it and went home and then lo and behold the police show up at my door and a Sergeant named Oliva and his lieutenant and I opened the door  and they pushed thier way into our home without a warrant and without being in Hot Pursuit and then handcuffed me on the sofa, as they confiscated a huge floor model  Hookah Pipe, that we had never really used,  because it took too much marijuana to fill and they took a Harley-Davidson dender from the basement,  for one had been stripped and stolen allegedly from a Hells Angel's girlfriend and I had nothing to do with it and the Fender guitar, so they took me down to the San San Anselmo police station and put this stuff on display, on a table and gloating, like "oh" this is a big bust for them and we got Peter yhe pteverbial Hippie from the commue and they didn't even know me, and to them I was just another hippie "scum bag" and they booked me and photographed me and the City Hall, of the main town in Marin County called San Rafael, at the Old Courthouse and my future father-in-law had heard of my arrest, because I was dating his daughter and that she was hanging out with a hippie from the commune and wanted to see what I look like and  so his inpression of me was an image of me, was a mugshot. For he was a Marin County Supervisor and the Supervisors were in charge of the jail so he had access to go into the jail see my mugshot and I was given a public defender named Brainerd and instead of defending me properly, by saying it was an illegal search and seizure without a warrant or hot pursuit  he persuaded me to plead guilty to misdemeanor, receiving of stolen property and I had just turned eighteen and this was my first adult crimminal record and put me  on an informal probation and that was the end of that and but I was totally  demoralized. For I felt like that I had failed the commune,  for I had said in my heart I would never let hard drugs come into that commune, like uppers or downers or any powders or Meth or LSD and the only wine and Marijuana and in those days Marijuanna was pretty weak and you had to smoke a number of joints to get high and here I was taking LSD again, of which I had sworn in my heart that I would never take again and so.much for will power or the power of positive thinking alone and without the power of the New Birth in Christ and poor, by God's mercy patience a year before, I had been deluvered from a Meth addiction by y he laying on of the hands of elders at a Chrismatic prayer meeting, in a side Chapel at the now famous mother church of the Fourquare Pentecostal Denomination in down town Los Angeles called the Los Angeles Cathedral founded by the women pastor and Evangelist, Amie Semple McPherson and her mother and that she had brought Pentecostalism into the Mainstream, like Elvis Presly who was so raised in a Pentecoastal Church by his mother and a little known fact for all you Elvis Presley fans, and while the Elders prayed and laid hands on me a d were speaking and praying in tongues, out loud with passion and contorted faces (for I had never heard of speaking or praying in  tongues before), and the. I felt warm and felt like I needed to go out into the night and even throw my cigarettes away and saying in my
heart "away with such things" and afterwards fell tight back into s.oking, but a strange thing happened after I got home too my shared apartment, with a fellow student from my Marin County High School days, for a couple of friends show up at my apartment door a few days later and said that they had some crystal meth of which was rare in those days, in 1967 and I was tempted to drop the dope orally, I stead of shooting it, of which was the norm in those days (for this was a new thing for me) and I felt so sick after they left that I thought that I was going to die, from paranoia and that my heart would fail and or have an heart attack and even thought that my friends poisoned me, in my paranoia for Methadrine paranoia is different from Marijuanna paranonia and is much worse and effects the brain,  or destroys the brain, in a different way, then other drugs and that's one reason why, methheads tend to carry knives and  but when someone overdoses on  Marijunna it tends to just make people more axirious from to much ingestion and is the usual cause, because some people smoke to much at once, expecting an immediate high, of which takes about at leat ten minutes from the time to get pain free or high snd witb edibles it can take a hour or so and easy to overdose on brownies, for instance and last I check sith the Center for Desease control, nobody died last year, as a direct result of a Marijuanna overdose, here in 2023 for exams whole people are dying from over the counter drugs, like Tylonal for instance, from residual effects, like liver failer or eating of peanut butter by those who are allergic of it and get the juist of it and while while forty thousand people a year, die from overdoses on pharmaceutical medicines,  on the streets and by prescriptions and about forty thousand people die of alcoholism a year als and but the biggest killer is tobacco two hundred and fifty thousand people a year and now phentenol, is the second biggest killer behind tobbaco and more then, pharmaceuticals, over the counter and on the streets, is my educated and researched option and I never have taken any form of Methadrine (created and popularized by the Nazis)  Benzadrine (truck driver pills) or Dexidrine (diet pills) and here I was busted,  for trading a cap of acid,  for a guitar of which the snitch never mentioned the LSD trade and so I was in a real funk. For I thought I had failed the commune and had failed myself and  failed my girlfriend Becky and I failed my future  father-in-law and my parents and I was very deppressed and discouraged about not being able to living a good, decent and clean and productive life and while I was still sharing an apartment with my aquaitance, from Redwoid High school  at the time from my distant memory, I enrolled in College of  Marin (in which school also a famous Comedian named Robbin Williams failed in a talent contest) and I took the ownly class available left open to me called Family and  Marriage and I got to "B" plus and I think like  that's another story and also I tried to improve my life. The best I could in general and I would  go to school hitchhiking barefoot too College of Marin and now here I was in this digressing in the commue, later and quite frankly getting burned out from the daily partying and unemployment and shoplifting to eat for we never dreamed or thought of checking the supermarket downstairs in those days and of course my then girlfriend Becky was never involved in any of that and it was my first girlfriend Sally that taught me how to shoplift and again that's another story in itself how someone could make you go into a store and shoplift for them that's a lot of power over people I'd say and of course I showed up her in County with nothing nada and zero and I had to climb up from the very depths and inch by engine step by step in and getting a job is a dishwasher and running an apartment and then blowing all of that ending up in a commune with four girls which was heaven on earth at the time and now things were catching up on me about adult responsibilities and I kept getting these letters from my mother in Southern California how Jesus had healed her from her periodic alcoholism for instance and I healing service and she wanted me to come to the service also and so I thought my mother had lost her mind that she finally went over the edge and her mind had snapped and she had gone happy from all the suffering and childbearing and dealing with my White Russian and hard drinking and hard-workin and I must say also and a very hard worker and a very hard drinker and he managed to pull it all off before he died in a hospital choking on food while in for mine or surgery and the doctor's report said it was heart attack but you know, who has the time to find a lawyer and who has the money if you can't find one pro bono and so that was that and so on, but nothing is ever finished...to be continued for continued support ministering and feeding, the hard working and low income working waterfront community of Sausalito California support through Zelle or Cash App or mail too the New Covenant Evangelistic Association Inc.P.O.Box 2404 San Anselmo California 94979

Chapter Three Testimonial/Life in South Central Juvinile Hall by Peter Romanowsky CEO/ President of the New Covenant Evangelistic Association Inc..

Continued from chapter .. I was taken to the worst jail in Los Angeles, I was told by the arresting officer and he was gloating about it and I checked in at night, on a Friday and put in a cell with a young and a very short and very Lively and very active black cellmate of whom, when I woke up from the dark on Saturday morning, I got to meet him and know him and hear his stories and he was a delightful sort of person and full of energy and youth and good skin tone and handsome and intelligent and was wearing would looked  like Silk boxer shorts and maybe a tanker top and we all the same, for we were all kind of in our street clothes or underwear, if I recall and he told me all these fantastic and great stories about what life was like in the hood in and South Central Los Angeles where he was from and I mean the rough part of Los Angeles and I got to know what life was like in the Black Community, that he was raised in and he was extremely friendly and a happy person and I don't even remember what he was in jail for for the weekend and it didn't matter to me because he was such a nice fellow and next to me in the cell was a young handsome Caucasian blonde man who was a Harley Davis enthusiast and was telling me stories of what it's like to ride a Harley-Davidson and the feeling and coming up to stop signs and intersections and looking around and feeling the groove and holding on to his tee bars and I got to know what it was like to be a Harley-Davidson rider and I can't remember what he was arrested for either for we were all arrested for minor quality of life issues, as I recall and while my black cellmate was chattering away out loud. The jailer comes out from behind his desk in the front room and I could see what look like bottles of booze behind his desk? He came out in a gruff and accuse me of talking out loud, for it was forbidden to talk in the jail cells, which were nothing but cages side by side where you can reach out and touch the person in  the cell next to you and separated only by bars so that's the way it was like, animal or Tiger cages and he accused me of talking out loud and  made me take off my clothes in the front of all the other cell mates and marched me off to a back room and put me in a room with another young black prisoner who was also naked and we just sat there in the cooler so to speak and didn't say anything to each other and knowing that we were both suffering the same fate and at supper time we were released to go back to our cells and I had taken the fall for my black cellmate who was doing all the talking out loud and  out of love and of course not being labeled a snitch, and in the L-shaped row of cells that look like cages I could hear someone being sick and withdrawing from probably heroin and it was a miserable sort of place where all you wanted to do was see a patch of sunlight for there were no windows to look out or any skylights to look up to and then a preacher came in on Sunday and gave us a sermon and asked anybody if they wanted prayer to get on their knees in the cell and he would come up to the cell and pray with them and I got on my knees shamlessly and being brought up by a very loving and kindly and religious mother, I respectfully, in front of everybody got down on my knees with him and prayed and caring not what people thought and nobody said a word and another person or so also got down on thier knees. In the front of the cell door as the minister prayed and I don't remember what the prayer was and it was probably the sinner's prayer of repentance and no doubt I repeated it and nothing really happened to me like the New Birth, at the time, for I was praying about the condition I was in physically in and not my spiritual condition, and I wasn't ready yet to be Born Again, as it was more of a foxhole or jail time prayer, or conversion. After being released on Monday we were transferred to South Central Juvenile Hall, in the heart of downtown and East Los Angeles. to Juvenile Hall, after spending the weekend in jail, it was not open to take in prisoners on weekends and that's why I and my cell mate friend as minors, were kept in the Georgia Street jail and  since has been demolished and destroyed, the last I heard and good riddance. They checked me into high school t for classes and as I was walking across a wide open empty field between classes, I saw a great big long cigarette butt on the ground and I went to pick it up to my joy and when I looked up I was surrounded by four or five great big Husky black and serious youth offereders and they were all grining at me and one of them said with a smile through his teeth and "What have you got in your hand there white boy"!?, or something like that and I felt like I was looking at serious bodily harm or even death in the face, at the hands of these huge husky youth offenders that were being transferred through Juvenile Hall from a youth facility prison for hardcore gang members and felons and tried like adults and here I was a white boy from the suburbs of West Los Angeles, where no Blacks or even Hispanics lived at the time and I came from a lily white suburb of Tarzana next to Encino California, where the song Encino Girl was sung about and even a movie called Encino Man was made of which was hilariously ridiculous because he was supposed to be about a frozen cave man found  in the ground from the Ice Age and Los Angeles is a semi  troplical desert that the only life comes from water being shipped by the famous or infamous aquaduct engineer called Mulholland, from water piped from up north for example and Encino for instance is in the foothills of the Mulholland Drive, in the Santa Monica Mountains and I used to hike up to Mulholland Drive from our home in Encino, before moving next door back to Tarzana, after returning with my parents from Northern California and movng back too the San Fernando. Valley and living in Sylmar briely and attending Sylmar High and then moving to Tarzana. Where William Rice Burroughs  lived and the town was named after him and his book Tarzan and used to have an animal farm there. Well anyway back to my Testimonial, after being treated the way I was treated at the West Valley Police Station I even had less respect for police officers and Los Angeles was known to have a really hardcore and tough Police Department and the largest jail system in the world and  the head of the Los Angeles Police Department around that time was said to be formally in charge of the Tiger Cages, where North Vietnamese prosoners were kept in pits with bars on top of them and lime thrown on them and exposed to the elements and I don't know how true that was and it's something worth looking into historically speaking and again back to my story. While I was surrounded by these for five felonious and adult youth offenders, from the California Youth Authority when and all of a sudden I heard a little voice in the distance crying out and saying to his Black Brothers "Hey that's Pete" and as soon as they heard that I had a Blck friend, they all just vanished and disappeared and it was my cell mate, that I took a fall for and Georgia Street jail and my good Karma, so to speak came back to me and but something happened to me, like it felt like every drug I'd ever taken as a youth laid residual in my body and or had accumulated had been squeezed out of my system and into my head and I started feeling like I was coming on to LSD or something while I was sitting in my Juvenile Hall High School classroom and I was starting to get paranoid and felt like I was starting to lose my mind or lose control and I lifted up my hand to ask the teacher if I can see the nurse hoping she would say yes and she did and miraculously I made it down the hall to the nurse's room and immediately a motherly black nurse looked at me and knew what had happened to me and I learned a new word and it was called PRESSURING and she had realized that I had just been pressured and it had triggered something physically and psychologically in me a sort of post traumatic distress order "PTSD" and I never even knew the meaning of the word until I experienced it and for the next months, I battled this feeling that I was losing my mind or that I was going insane and suffering from acute paranoia and especially when I was in my cell all alone with my thoughts and no one to talk to but God and myself and I didn't know God personally at this time and suffered and soldiered through it by God's Grace, anyway and did the best I could to pray, about not losing my mind from this disorder and eventully fellowshipping with my fellow inmates in the day time and ate with them and finally ended up in the Dorm and not alone at nights anymore and the Latinos that were there, never bothered us Whites and kept to themselves and did the cooking for the counselors and I even saw one spitting in their food. Also again it was my first time blocked up with the Blacks and the Whites and the Blacks pretty much kept to themselves, as did the Latinos and the blacks were much more vocal and intimidating in thier loud speech and jesters and remember now this is the the heart of downtown East Central Los Angeles in the heart of Darkness so to speak. But I got along with everybody and as I said the races pretty much kept to themselves and there was no troubles or problems yet and this being my first time I had ever lived in a multiracial community and the whites were very quiet and contemplative for Nordic blood and genes over the centuries had adopted the Nordic Whites especially to sit quietly through the  long six months of darkness in the  winter for example around the Nordic Circle and while the Black Community or used to living closer to the Equator where there was an equal amount of sunlight and an equal amount of Darkness during every 24-hour period and we're much more animated and active, Genetically speaking I suppose and it's the only explanation I could think of why the whites were so quiet and calm and withdrawn and more meditative and I think also that it was a cultural thing and not just a genetic thing and well that was my experience and feelings at the time as I was still struggling with my post traumatic stress symptoms of which again like I said before lasted for months, maybe three or four months out of the six  months that I served for being associated with someone who had one ounce of Mexican marijuana on him and I was the scapegoat that was sent to juvenile hall and while my friend who had the marijuana apparently got off, with a slap on the wrist and didn't do any time to the best of my knowledge, because he told the police where he bought the Marijuana from and even though it was only a ten dollars an ounce in those days, it was a serious felony and the guy, that my best friend bought it from was a collegiate type and looked like a football player and had a lot to lose for selling him that Marijuana, at a time when two or three marijuana seeds alone could have you arrested as a felony and it's so ironic, when I was sitting in a tree as a youth and reading a package of parakeet food it said it's a federal offense to grow these seeds and I didn't understand why until later that they put radiated marijuana seeds in parakeet food for instance to sterilize them so they won't grow but sometimes the sterilization didn't work all the time and you could actually grow a marijuana from parakeet seeds and how many people knew that and no wonder the birds are singing all the time in their cages and  that was before I picked up the habit and otherwise I would have experimented on growing parakeet food to see if some of the unradiated seeds would sprout at all and it  would take is just one female plant to grow, to get high and but what did I know about growing marijuana, for like I said again I had not yet picked up the habit, when I read the bird seed federal warning against growing the seeds also, freaky and one reson I didn't cooperate with the police, on the bust was that I didn't want to be labeled as a snitch and be retailed against and he got a drive by bullet, through his parents living room window for telling and besides, it was not my weed and I didn't buy it and yet I was scape goated  for it and had a couple of priors for mischief and theft and they needed thier pound of flesh, for an ounce of Mexican Brown and anyways us white boys, mostly from the suburbs fellowshipped together and ate together and talked about our experiences over food, which was pretty good for I was put in a specia unit called Unite "O",  for least offenders and a kind of the Penthouse Suite of South Central Juvenile Hall and we had nice and friendly counselors one especially with a mustach and long hair and looked like a Hippie and he it was very friendly and didn't deserve his food being spit in by the Latinos and so life went on and something like a zipper for a jacket became like a piece of jewelry for some of the jackets the zippers were gone and if you had a zipper will you held on to it so you could zip up your jacket otherwise it's just kind of just open all the time and I held on to my zipper after I got a juvenile hall for a long time, because they would work on any zipperless jacket and we listen to Donovan and tried to smoke banana leaves and got nothing out of it and I think the most popular song at least for me was they call me mellow yellow and there was a ruler that if you smoked dried banana peels that you could get high and for we had some things we were able to smuggle into Unit C because for instance eventually I got a weekend pass to go home and when I returned I sold some tobacco and matches and Striker in my underwear and eventually I was caught when sharing the tobacco in the dorm room that I was finally able to sleep in with the others instead of being alone in a concrete cell or bedroom and I wasn't allowed to take a leave pass for the next weekend it hurt and I used to drive my own used car to home and back and park it outside Juvenile Hall and it never really got molested by anyone even though it's sad outside you know for 5 days a week and it looked like somebody might have gone into the glove compartment and that's about it and it was an old classic car, something from like the 40s and would be worth a small fortune today but that's how life and times are and how time flies and one may have an antique car like I did back then but it was a lot more common than today and well today, mellow yellow and bananas were symbols of marijuana joints like in the we all live in a yellow submarine and or like the song Little Jackie papers love that Rascal Puff and brought him papers and sealing wax and other fancy stuff and I finally realized and  just recently, what the sealing wax was on the papers to roll, joints, duh! Well from there I was transferred to a Sylmar Juvenile Hall, in the north most part of Los Angeles. They're the facility was more like a l lockdown high school campus, spacious rooms, High School classes and I dreamed of San Francisco again and what was going on up there and for it was December of love coming up and here I was in lockdown. The days went on and I didn't know when I was going to be released for nobody told me how long I'd be sentenced, believe it or not and so I was getting very antsy and stirred. There was a black man and a very handsome one at that who is a fantastically gifted artist and could do a sketch with a pencil that was just commercial quality and a god-given and natural Talent and I admired him so and I did my best as an artist and painted a watercolor scene of Christ in a purple role than crown of thorns, carrying a cross and being whipped by a soldier and apparently my watercolor was good enough for someone on the staff in juvenile hall to know that take it and keep it for himself for I was more interested in just getting out and then one day in art class, the artist I most admired, came up to me from behind and said come on in the bathroom white boy and I will kick your ass and I was so shocked and surprised for him to say that to me, that I exploded on him and started beat him beating on him with such a velocity that he was totally caught by surprise and off balance and I took up popsicle stick work of art and smashed it on his head and I accidentally punched a counselor in the mouth and after that incident a black counselor was sent to my cell room to talk about the incident and a white counselor was sent to the black artist room. To find out what went down and nobody got hurt except one's Pride and I told him what had happened that that man no threatening to kick my ass and I got the jump on him and the counselor grinning seem to understand and when we were walking in line between classes through the open campus field and walkway and passing another column of students Marching In Line past us and the blacks seeing me in line walking past them they held their heads down and didn't say a word and I had their respect and I was the only white boy in the whole time that I wasn't that wasn't ultimately intimidated by the blacks. Then low and behold I get a notice shortly after that I am being released and wow what a joy that was and if I recall it was around the beginning of the Summer of Love and I hadn't totally missed it and I went to Griffith Park to loving or what was called a be in and I went to one in Canoga Park and saw Country Joe, without his shirt on and his long hair and beard and well tanned and  playing the guitar and all the Hippie Jewelry and art stuff at the festival and cars were cheap in those days in LA and you could buy a running car for fifty dollars  and you can drive around with ball tires and no doors on your cars or even windshields for that matter and when they broke down you could just abandon them and some used to run them off cliffs for fun, of which I've never been involved in but I've seen a few rusting chassis In the Hills of Encino and at Griffith Park, I used to love to ride the horses for the horses were trained to go down this fenced path in a big loop and all he had to do was sit on him and I would roll a joint while sitting on a horse feeling like a real cowboy, for I loved the  Horseback rides in the Park as the "Love In" or "Be In", was going on in Griffin Park and I so remember reading an  underground Hippie Newsletter, about two Hippie tribes and its Chief leaders of the  tribes coming together naked and with a stick of incense stuck thier they're behinds and they tried to outgive each other with gifts and love and I thought that this is the life I've been looking for! "Peace and Love", and that's what all of us young teenage Hippies were searching for and after abandoning a Sunbeam convertible with no working starter motor that I used to push start, for it only had a four-cylinder engine if I recall and when it finally broke down I just took my toolbox out of it and just abandoned it on the side of the road somewhere and Chatsworth area if I recall and coming home to my parents and Tarzana I borrowed the family car to drive it to the beach through Topanga Canyon and it broke down on the canyon road and I just left it there and hitchhike back home I didn't want to tell my parents that I abandoned the used car and came home clandestine, in the evening at night and I got a coat and that was all and I left home and walked a few blocks to a freeway on ramp of Ventura Highway 101 and there was a dollar bill laying on the freeway on ramp and that's what I left home with and the first person to pick me up was a young handsome well-dressed office type executive looking person in a fancy new car and he was very young not far from my age I thought and no doubt from a wealthy family college-educated and he wanted to pull over on the side of the freeway and asked if he could have sex with me and of course I said no for that was not my bag, so to speak and then he dropped me off at the intersection of the Ventura freeway and Malibu Canyon Road and I got a second ride during the night, all the way to Tura County and the City of Ventura on the coast of California and found a place to sleep at the end of a cul-de-sac that had a lot of clean white beach sand and for the first time my life and never again for I am seventy four on June 26th and I have never slept on the ground like that without camping growing up and during the night a police cruiser drove by and I must have looked like just another homeless Hippie, sleeping on the ground or in the clean white sand beach gutter and when I woke up to sunny a d beautiful blue sky and clear day, I got a ride from a really nice young lady and she drove me all the way to Santa Barbara if I recall and while going down the freeway I noticed she had a book and the side pocket of the passenger door buy a well-known Yogi that had founded a Meditation Center on the coast of Southern California in Los Angeles called by his name was Parasanda Yoginamy or something and she looked a little concerned as I picked up the book to start looking at it like maybe I shouldn't get involved in this Indian cult, so to speak and she might have been obviously a follower and or a member of the Ashram and I had  at least she was very kind to pick me up and I had no spiritual leanings and coming out of the Catholic Church and all and left it at the age of thirteen and she was also good looking and young like me and we were all excited for this was the year and Summer of love in 1967. The next ride I got was by a pleasant young man who took me all the way back too, San Francisco and he asked if I wanted to be dropped off and at Hieght Ashbury and I said "No", for I wanted to go back  to Marin County where I used to live and in really that's where all the real upscale Hippie action was and where the first Rock Festival, ever in history took place in Marin County on Mount Tamalpias and it was called The Magic Mountain Festival and it lasted for a couple of days around June 4th and 5th and then the next historic rock festival was the Monterey Rock Festival of which I had not attended either and for one reason I was in Juvenile Hall still around the beginning of the Summer of Love and the Magic Mountain Festival and during the Montery Rock Festival in the Summer of Love, while I basically spent that time in Los Angeles and started hichinking North  and so I missed these historic events and  Woodstock didn't come till a couple years later later of which I did not attend either and busy rocking and rolling in a Hippie Commune with my best friend and four teen age girls, like ourselves living independently and well anyways  back to the conclusion of this chapter of my story I was dropped off in San Francisco on my last ride hitchhiking from Los Angeles and I made my way across the bridge back to my beloved Marion County and homeless and broke and had to start my life of freedom and Independence without anything but the clothes on my back and look forward to the next chapter of my life of which this story by the Storyteller will continue under the subtitle of living the ultimate hippie life of freedom in Marin County until I can to the end of myself and my own good works myself righteousness and finally related that I was a hopeless Sinner and I needed a miracle in my life and mainly the new birth and transformation into the life of the Holy Spirit and how to fighting over time evil and my last besetting sin and if you have been blessed by this testimony one can make and offering through both PayPal or Zelle at telephone number 415 374 0734 and if one would like a tax exempt receipt then please make a note or write to the New Covenant Evangelistic Association Inc. testimony freedom from methamphetamines

The '60s Jesus movement started at a little Foursquare Church in Los Angeles and my mother took me to Angeles Temple of which the Holy Ghost built and by using Amy Semple McPherson and others, to God be the glory. I was struggling with identity and who I am and what is my purpose in life and what is the meaning of life and I turned to street drugs to medicate myself for I had no medical insurance at the time as a teenager. I began using methamphetamine and getting addicted to the subtle draw of the drug and is highly addicting. My mother took me to a prayer meeting at Angelus Temple next to Echo Park and I saw this young skinny black man playing the piano and singing gospel music and it turned out to be Andre Crouch of the disciples, before he became a multiple Grammy Award gospel singer and I heard a black lady testifying how God paid her rent after prayer and the door knocked and there was an envelope with her rent money from under the door or something like that and my mother asked the elders there to pray for me, so I was kind of excited about this Pentecostal meeting the first one I'd ever been to In My Life of which Amy simple McPherson popularized with music and drama and took it into the mainstream. During the Roaring Twenties and during the Depression years feeding people no matter what their religion race or Creed in Los Angeles in a highly polarized City. When the elders laid hands on me and prayed for me but they begin praying in tongues of which I have never heard of before and it was all new to me being raised a Catholic. I felt kind of warm as I prayed for me, kind of warm inside the building and I thought it was just being indoors for I was so used to living Outdoors during the 60s and being a runaway and all during that period and living across the bridge in Marin County from San Francisco wherever I could and whoever car or couch I could sleep in and I had an apartment by this time that I was sharing and a little job as a dishwasher at elderly convalescent Danish retirement The Village complex in San Rafael California. I walked outside to get some cool fresh air and through my cigarettes away and felt enough Faith to say to myself that it's over I'm quitting and no more meth for me. When I got back to my apartment in Fairfax California within days old friend showed up at the door with what they said was some crystal meth and I stumbled and fell and took it and then I felt so sick and paranoid without getting high, that I curled up around the telephone ready to call 911. Thinking that I might die or that I was pleased or had some bad dope, never took it again or any version of Meth, to this day and I was 17 then and I'll be 74 on June 26th 1949 and the ministry that God used Amy to start was still going on and over a million members of the church worldwide today and in spite of all her stumbles and falls of which were as Titanic as her successes. God bless Amy there in the afterlife in Paradise waiting for the first resurrection of the just the next great  women Evangelist Katheryn Khulmem excepted Amies Mantel of the Holy Ghost and I was born again in the front of the Shrine Auditorium of what she rented once a month in Los Angeles. Where the Academy Awards used to be awarded. For it was a year later after I was delivered and healed and even before I was a born again Christian from methamphetamine and hard drugs, until I stumbled and fell and took LSD on and off for a week and I felt like such a failure and that I had no willpower to do good and be perfect. I'm still not perfect but I understand now that Christ is my perfection and he exchanged his righteousness and the holy robes for my regs and I entered into the richness of the kingdom of God within. Hallelujah Waterfront and anchor out Pastor of San Francisco Bay Peter the preacher and see you Sundays in Dunphy Park Sausalito California at noon every Sunday all summer long with a barbecue and church picnic and fellowship and the reading and the preaching of the word by 2:00 in the afternoon after everybody was full and happy and didn't have to sit through the sermon to get fed, of which is fine and dandy also. I ended up being invited with my mother to be on Katheryn Kuhlmens national television program, to share my testimonies so in effect these two women had a major influence in my life and the Holy Spirit of healing and loving and forgiving and restoring, is still going on and eventually the mantel fell on another preacher named Benny Hinn and God bless Benny also, in Jesus Christ Holy Name the name that is above every name in heaven and Earth along with the father and the Holy Ghost.
